Our Mission

Our mission is to put an end to the violence withing the community. Through our art initiative and community development we feel we can help to shift the energy within our community. We feel through positive actions,and community development, we can and will make a difference. We have mad our mission one of change. 

    By mixing expression, a solid community, and positive reinforcement we can decrease the violence. We hereby declare as a community we will work for the unity of all of the citizens of our community. We will unite, and concurs the issues at hand.

Violence

      The violence within our community's need's to stop. We as parents, officials, and role models need to set an example for our youth. If we can do so, we can change the violence epidemic. This epidemic effects so many of us. So Please support us, come out to a meeting.  We as a community can make a difference.

     With all the hurt in our community we need to stand together and make changes for the better. Please support us in our mission to making the difference. We do not only wish to take back Joliet, but the rest of our nation. WE ARE IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL. Men of Valor 2 is here to say enough is enough.

Join Men Of Valor for the Public Declaration signing

Joliet, Illinois, 02/18/2015 —Mighty Men Of Valor will be hosting a public declaration signing at the Joliet Public Library at 150, N Ottawa St. Joliet, IL 60432 on the second floor.  On February 28th, 2015 at 9:00 AM Pastor Lonnie E. Posley Sr and Pastor Clint Wilburn and their team will lead a public declaration signing. The signing of the deceleration will signify community members willingness to agree enough is enough.   

With the violence spreading through our community, it is time to put a stop to it. Our community has formed a pact. With guidance from other leaders, the team plans to take on the violence in the community with a swift serious effort. " We are losing children, and we can stop this". Stated Pastor Lonnie Posley in his Tuesday night town hall. " By signing this declaration  you are taking the first step, in taking back our community.  ​​
